Macao

Macao is a digital adaptation of the classic card game, developed as part of a faculty project at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. Created in Unity, the game places emphasis on replicating the authentic gameplay of Macao while introducing a modern and interactive multiplayer experience using Photon API. The project aims to simulate the feel of playing the traditional card game in a digital environment, where players can connect and play together in real time.

Players can create their own profiles, complete with usernames and avatars, and compete to be the first to get rid of all their cards by matching suits or values. Special action cards add layers of strategy and excitement to each match. Macao provides a familiar experience for fans of the original game, now enhanced with online functionality and a polished UI.
